An Old Rotten Tree

I feel like an old rotten tree
Its branches broken, its leaves
all withered;
its trunk filled, but with hideous worms

When light shines upon it, it feels nothing but pain
and when coldness arises at night, it shivers
in the heart-wrenching wind;
it weeps in the darkness, for its irreversible death

And it weeps
and it weeps.
